NJIS is finally open at our new site. For those returning, school will open on Thursday, August 9, 2012.
Our new teachers begin their orientation this Friday, July 27 and then get with returning teachers next week.
School Hours
- Grade 1 thru Grade 12 7:30 A.M. to 2:40 P.M. after school activities to 4:00 P.M.
- Lunch 11:20 A.M. to 12:00 Noon
- Recess for Lower School 9:40 A.M. to 9: 55 A.M.
- Pre-K students 7:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. until September 14 then will go to 12:00 Noon starting Monday, September 17.
- Kindergarten students 7:30 A.M. to 12:00 Noon until September 14 then will go to 1:30 P.M. until December 21, 2012
- Effective the second semester, Monday, January 14 Kindergarten students will be dismissed at 2:40 P.M., as with the regular school.
School Uniforms
School uniforms will be ready for sale during the week of August 6. For those planning their first holiday because of the Ramadan. School will close on Friday, August 17 with early closing at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 16. School re-opens on Wednesday, August 22.

Do not hesitate to drop over this next few weeks to see our new campus. It would be truly nice to see some of our former parents and students. You are always part of our NJIS family.
