Personal peer relationships and preparation for the formal university / college preparation program found at the high school level are central to Middle School. It I the most intense developmental time in a child’s life when physical, emotional, and social changes are experienced. This transition period is called pre–adolescence. Middle School is designed to build upon the foundation that students have acquired in Lower School and prepare them to take advantage of educational opportunities in the future.
