At NJIS, we believe that what a student learns outside the classroom is as much a part of a student's school experience as what a student learns within the classroom. With this in mind, the school tries to offer a range of After-School-Activities (ASA's) which students will find both rewarding and challenging. We encourage all students to become involved and firmly believe that participation in after-school activities will enhance student's quality of school life and will increase their chances for success post graduation.
The lessons learned in these experiences, those of commitment, perseverance, communication, negotiation, and more have proven to develop skills that are sought after in both the corporate and academic world. Activities other than sports are provided in the following areas: Student Council, Model United Nations, Drama, Dance Club, Jazz Club, Choir, Reading Clubs, Creative Writing, Musical Clubs, Electronics Club. These activities and more are offered across grade levels on each of our campus.
